OTHER VOICES, OTHER SITES

Reserve your tickets to see Doug Elkins' completely entertaining Fraulein Maria at Dance Theater Workshop on December 10-12 & 17-19.

In the DTW lobby, beginning at 5:00 each day of the show, you can also catch my recently-completed Where the Dance Is, a 16-minute documentary featuring Doug's work with 8 Beacon High School students.

Read Ohad Naharin's advice to dance critics, upon receiving a Dance Magazine award last month - which I enjoyed while perusing Eva Yaa Asantewaa's Infinite Body, where you can watch the Pink Glove Dance, a video of medical personnel dancing and being silly for cancer awareness.

Click here to see an excerpt of The Welcome Table, my first self-produced videodance made in and around Nyack in 2005.

Speaking of critics, I'm my own harshest, so it does me good to look again 4 years later with a clearer eye on what worked, instead of just what didn't!
