Gone By # 1

September 10-13 I attended a Dance for the Camera Workshop with award-winning Canadian filmmaker Laura Taler at the University of Utah, where two of my short films showed.  Laura was inspiring and encouraging - and proposed a wham bang production schedule : 2 hours to plan, 2 hours to shoot, and 2 hours to edit.

My collaborators were Ebrahim Ghaeini, a freshman in the film department,  and Erin Empey, an MFA candidate in the dance department. Laura charged us with co-writing a haiku and trying to make something personal within the time constraints.

Below is the result, never to be developed further, but a juicy souvenir of group composition at high speed.
