Click that Mouse Part 1

Wait a minute.
Harvest in January?

Well, it seems that past projects are beginning to bear fruit, even during these chilly months.

Be sure to read Part I, II & III
for details:

Where the Dance Is will be shown at Beacon School on January 28 at 2:00 pm, during the 2010 Dance on Camera Festival, co-sponsored by Dance Films Association and the Film Society of Lincoln Center.

Not just because I'm on the Board of DFA, I'm planning to get my fill of dance films during the fest, which runs from January 29 to February 2 at the Walter Reade Theater.

On January 31st I look forward to seeing fellow UMOVE curator Kriota Willberg's Sunscreen Serenade as part of the Dance Shorts program, as well as the world premiere of Michael Blackwood's States of Performance which closes the festival on the 2nd. And I don't want to miss Waterproof, French choreographer Daniel Larrieu's 1986 piece in a pool
(read HERE Burt Supree's review of the live performance)
- or the trip to the Mark Morris Dance Center in Brooklyn to see two films of Indian dance.

Which days are you going? I'll meet you there!
